RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing -and delivering foreign and
domestic periodical subscriptions and newspaper subscriptions to the Public Library
for the year 1964, to HANSON- RFnm�*t'r MAGAZINE AGENCY in accordance.with City
specifications and the Formal Bid #9418 of said Hanson - Bennett Magazine Agency for'
the contract price of $5,834.62, such bid being the lowest and aaid Hanson- Bennett
Magazine Agency being a reasonable and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel
be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor, and the
proper City officials hereby are authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the
City of Saint Paul.,
