Loss' Department of Parks And Recreation And Public Buildings RE: CIVIC EDUCATION BUILDING - Job B 972 Dear Sir: Contract No. G -3152 was awarded to Lovering Construction Com- pany for General, Electrical and Mechanical Construction of the Civic Education Building, Tenth and Cedar Streets, Saint Paul, Minnesota. During the course of the work under the contract, certain changes were found to be desirable and, at the request of the Commissioner of Libraries, Auditorium, and Civic Buildings ne- gotiations have been conducted with the contractor who agrees to make the following changes for the amounts listed: 1. On Plan A -1 the hallway from grid 3% to grid 7'/ on grid J - Change this hallway from 6 feet to 8 feet wide to the south of grid J. No change in contract price 2. On Plan A -1 the hallway from grid J to grid L between grid 6 and 6% - Change this hallway from 6 feet 4 inch- es to 8 feet 0 inches wide, the widening to be on the side toward grid 6%. No change in contract price 3. Change the following door widths to 8 feet wide Plan AS1 a. From hall A 3 to Room A 15 b. From hall A 3 to Hall A 16 c. From hall A 3 to Room A 17 $24.00 4. On Plan A -4 doors B 223 and B 223A from Room B 223 to Corridor B 201.
