An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 11022, entitled:
"An administrative ordinance fixing a schedule of
charges , for the use of the Saint Paul Municipal Stadium "
and determining,.to what uses the Stadium shall be devoted '
in addition to professional baseball, and repealing all
other ordinances and parts of ordinances inconsistent
herewith. This is an emergency ordinance rendered neces-
sary for the - preservation of the public peace, health and
safety,"

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 11022, approved June 18, 1957,
be and the- same hereby is amended as to Section 1 thereof in the
following particulars:
Delete therefrom Subsection 2 (b) of Section 1, which
reads as follows:
"b) For use by high school or secondary schools, $100.00
per day, plus 5 per cent of the gross receipts. In
addition, the user shall furnish all attendant services
or shall pay for such attendant services as shall be
required."
and substitute in lieu thereof the following subsection 2 (b):
"b) For use by high schools or secondary schools, 6100.00
per day. In addition, the user shall furnish or pay for
attendant services as follows: Public address announcer,-fl,

Scoreboard operator, Clubhouse man, Matron, Ticket Sellers
and Gatemen.
Amend Subsection 5 of Section 1, which now reads as follows:
115. Concession Sales. Concession receipts shall belong
d entirely to the City, or to the City and to the organiza-

tion operating the concessions under agreement with the
City."
by adding certain language so-that Subsection 5 will read:
115. Concession Sales. Concession receipts shall belong
entirely to the City, or to the City and to the organiza-
tion operating the concessions under agreement with the
City, with the exception of the use of the Stadium by
high schools or secondary schools for football events.
In the case of such use by high schools or secondary
schools, the user shall be paid 15 per cent of the gross

Dear Mr. Mortinson:
This is in reply to your letter of September 13th, in
which you have offerred a new rate structure for the use
of Midway Stadium.
You are aware, I`m sure, that since receiving your letter
we have scheduled the Central - Humboldt game for Thursday
night, September �i th. This will be experimental on our
part, not only to determine whether we can resume orderly
night games, but also to test our receipts under the new
condition.

matter.
