RESOLVED, That the Purchasing Agent be and he is hereby authorized with the consent of
the Mayor and the Comptroller, to purchase from KEYS WELL DRILLING COMPANY labor and
materials for an eight inch drill hole and wrought iron pipe liner in place, grouted
at a contract price of approximately $1127,46 (at unit prices bid) in accordance with
plans and specifications therefor, without advertisement, as per Informal Bid Nos*
5787 and 58399 there being no adequate competitiveesources of supply this is declared
r
to be an emergency where failure to act promptly would work hardship to the best
interests of the City, and the Corporation Counsel is hereby directed to draw up the
proper form o f contract therefor and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to
execute said contract on behalf of the City of St9 Paul.
