PAUL COUNCIL NO OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK FILE COUNCIL- -RESO , kUTIQN- GENERAL FORM 21..4639 PRESENTED BY Mortinson e. %� September r COMMISSIONER S verin A p,,TF , 1863 _ WHEREAS, The Commissioner of Libraries, Auditorium and Civic Buildings has reported in accordance with Section 53 of the City Charter, the existence of an emergency during the period from August 4th through August 31st, 1963 which rendered necessary the employment of certain employees of the Department of Libraries, Auditorium and Civic Buildings, Bureau of Auditorium, for more than eight hours per day or forty hours per week in doing the following work: Supervise various activities, operate ventilating system, operate PBX switbh- board during events held in the building. and WHEREAS, This emergency arose by reason of the following facts and circumstances: No other trained help available for work during Pop Musical Ice Revues, Chevrolet Show and Wrestling matches held in the Arena. This time includes Saturdays and Sundays. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the proper City Officers are hereby authorized to pay the employees who performed such work in accordance with the provisions of the Council's Salary Ordinance No. 6446.
