Block 36, Rice & Irvine's Addition to Town of Saint Paul. This property is owned by Petra M. Nicholson, 1999 Iglehart Ave- nue, Saint Paul 4. In this matter, the following resolutions were adopted by the City Council: C.F.. 210574, adopted by the Council December 28,, 1962 (published January 5, 1963) set a public hearing at 10 A. M. January 22, 1963. C.F. 210955, ado ted by the Council January 24, 1963 (published January 26, 1963 ordered the wrecking by and at the separate expense and cost of the owner, occupant, or other person in con- trol thereof. C.F. 211365, adopted by the Council February 21, 1963 (published February 23, 1963) directed the Commissioner of Parks And Recre- ation And Public Buildings to enter the premises and wreck and remove the fourplex thereon, and do any and all things therein necessary for the protection of life, limb, and adjoining proper- ty. Q.F. 212535, adopted by the Council May 3, 1963.(published May 4, 1963) approved the award of the contract for wrecking to A. Kamish Co. for the sum of $674.00 in accordance with specifica- tions and Informal Bid No. 5327 C.F. 213969, adopted by the Council July 17, 1963 (published July 20, 1963) provided that the wrecking expense of $674.00 and expense of the Department of Parks And Recreation And Public Buildings in connection with the condemnation in the amount of Pg. 2 $73.85.,making a total of $747.85 be paid out of Wrecking Con- demned Buildings, 31 G 22 account of General Fund, and, in the event said sum proves collectible from the owner, same is to be credited to 31 G 22/ The building has now been satisfactorily wrecked and a Regis- tered Bill mailed to the owners. We are rbquesting that you hold a public hearing with ten days' notice to consider any complaints about the expenses incurred and to confirm the amount. The Council resolution confirming the expense should end with a directive to the City Clerk to file a statement of expense for the purpose of securing a lien on the property.
