RESOLVED, that the Commissioner of Parks and Recreation
and Public Buildings is authorized to enter upon the premises des-
cribed as Except North 42.84 feet, Lot 29, Block 17, Mackubin &
Marshall's Addition to Saint Paul, according to the recorded plat
thereof in the office of the Register of Deeds of Ramsey County,
Minnesota, also known as 447 Carroll Avenue, and wreck and remove
the one and one half story frame single family dwelling thereon,
and to do any and all things therein necessary for the protection
of life, limb and adjoining property.

and directing the Commissioner of Parks and Recreation and Public Buildings
to enter upon the premises and wreck and remove the condemned'building,being
the one and one -half story frame single-family dwelling at 447 Carroll Ave.,
as more fully described in the attached letter of the City Architect.

Gentlemen:
Under date of August 14, 1963, a printed copy of Council File
No. 214224 was mailed to Harry $ Lenora E. Harris, 447 Carroll
Avenue and Daisy Lucas Gilmore, 736 Faller Avenue, Saint Paul
at their last known addresses, which resolution directed the
wrecking and removal of the one and one half story frame single
family dwelling on property described as Except North 42.84
feet, Lot 29, Block 17, Mackubin.& Marshall's (ldition to
Saint Paul, -also known as 447 Carroll Avenue,aas published in
the official paper.
No appeal has been filed with this office for a rehearing of
the condemnation proceedings and the structure has not been
removed. Please proceed with the condemnation action, which
will authorize the Commissioner of Parks And Recreation And Pub-
lic Buildings to enter upon the property and wreck and remove
the structure thereon, and iD do any and all things therein
necessary for the protection of life, limb, and adjoining prop-
erty.
