RESOLVED, that Capitol View Nursing Home be permitted to
install and operate a 26 -car private off - street parking facility in
conjunction with its facility now under.construction on property
at the southwest corner of Aurora Avenue and Galtier Street, in
Saint Paul, more particularly described as the east 33 feet of
Lot 7 and all of Lots 8, 9, and 10, Block 4, "Elfelt, Bernheimer &
Arnolds" Addition to St Paul, in accordance with plans approved
August 1, 1963, filed herewith, subject to compliance with the
City
provisions of all /ordinances governing the operation of parking lots,

This is in the matter of the application of the Capitol View Nursing Home
to install and operate a 26 car private off - street parking lot in conjunction
with its facility now under construction on property located at the south-
west corner of Aurora Avenue and Galtier Street which is described as the
east 33 feet of Lot 7 and all of Lots 8, 9, 10, Block 4,Elfelt, Bernbeimer
& Arnolds "Addition b � zoning is TIC" residence.

The subject property has a frontage of 188 feet on the south side of Aurora
Avenue and 124.25 feet on the west side of Galtier Street resulting in an
area of approximately 23,359 square feet. On May 5, 1963, the City Council
granted the applicant pe,xmission for the construction and operation of the
Nursing Home at this location. Field investigation discloses no basic ob-
jection to the proposal as off- street parking is recommended for such a facil-
ity. The Traffic Engineer and the Housing & Redevelopment Authority have
reviewed the proposal and recommend approval of the plan which meets the
standards for this type of facility, - 'I".1.
In consideration of the above findings, the Board of Zoning recommends the
granting of the permit for a 26 car private off- street parking lot on the
above described property in accordance with plans approved August 1, 1963.
