S.esol•t� ion, 21455-1 the City `of Sai= . ; Paul ' is kl tofore, adopted Resolu` z ?n, Coun File City Health and 'Welfare insurance WHEREAS, the Council thereafter, on °July 26, 1963, adopted Resolution, Council File No. 214113, also pertaining to the City's Health and Welfare insurance coverages, which latter resolution by its terms modified Resolution, Council File No. 214055; and WHEREAS, the Council thereafter, on August 23, 1963, adopted Resolution, Council File No. 214439, also pertaining to the City's Health and Welfare insurance coverages, which latter resolution by its terms modified and with respect to certain provisions superseded the earlier resolutions, Council File No. 214055 and Council File No. 214113 hereinbefore referred to; and WHEREAS} it is the present intention of the Council by this Resolution to clarify the effect of Resolution, Council File No. 214439, insofar as it applies'to Resolutions, Council File No. 214055 and 214113; _.n.ow, - -therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint Paul hereby indicates that it is.the intent of the Council that Resolution, Council File No. 214439 shall cancel and supersede in its entirety Resolution, Council File No. 214113 and shall modify and supersede the provisions of Resolution, Council File No. 214055 in the following respects and particulars: 1. That the first unnumbered paragraph and paragraphs numbered one and two of Council File No. 214055 are cancelled and superseded by the provisions of Council File No. 214439• 2. PAUL COUNCIL NO. • - OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK COUNCIL RESOLUTION — GENERAL FORM PRESENTED BY COMMISSIONER DATE _ Page 2. and the "Resolved" clause of said Council File No. 214055 are modified and extended so as to afford to each City employee eligible for City -pay coverage or who becomes eligible for City -pay coverage those coverages authorized by Council File No. 214439, which shall be in addition to present City -pay coverages. be it FINALLY RESOLVED, that the second "Resolved" clause of "=Resolution, Council File No. 214439 is hereby amend0d to read as follows: "FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, that the proper City officers are hereby authorized to pay, beginning January 1, 1964, on behalf of each City employee covered or who becomes eligible for coverage under the City -pay provisions of the Health and Welfare Insurance Program of the City of Saint Paul, in addition to the present City -pay coverage, an amount of $2.20 ppr_month per employee, such amounts to be used in payment of major medical - surgical coverage; also, in addition thereto, the proper City officers are authorized to pay as City -pay coverage an amount of $7.00 per month per City employee eligible for City - pay coverage, who elects to carry dependents' coverage, provided such City employee subscribes to and authorizes payroll deductions of the required premiums for all three of the following employee - pay dependency coverages: (1) hospitalization, (2) surgical and in- hospital medical, and (3) major medical - surgical coverage; be it".
