WHEREAS the Village of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, and the Board of Water
Commissioners of the City of Saint Paul have agreed upon certain
water main extensions to the Falcon Heights municipal water system,
and
WHEREAS the requirements of the Village of Falcon Heights may be met with
the installation of an eight -inch water main on Cleveland Avenue
between Dudley and Larpenteur Avenues, and
WHEREAS the Board of Water Commissioners foresees the need for additional
facilities in this location for its own use and desires a twelve -inch
water main to be installed in lieu of the eight -inch main, the total
differential cost not to exceed $7,600; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED that the Board of Water Commissioners is hereby authorized to execute
such an agreement with the Village of Falcon Heights whereby the
Board may have joint use of the water main and the Board to reimburse
the Village upon completion of said construction, the actual
differential cost between an eight -inch and a twelve -inch water main
to be based upon unit prices obtained when bids are received by the
Village of Falcon Heights, said cost not to exceed $7,600.00.
