RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract,.for furnishing all labor, materials and services
necessary for or reasonably incidental to the General Construction of a Garage for
the City Water Department, including Paint Spray Booth complete with lights, exhaust
fan, connector rings, etc., as specified, located at 289 North Hemline Avenue, Saint
Paul, Minnesota to WESTLUND CONSTRUCTION COMPANY in accordance with City plans and
specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid #9437 of said Westlund
Construction Company for the contract price of $81,721.00, such bid being the lowest
and said Westlund Construction Company being a reasonable and reliable bidder, and the
Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of contract
therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to execute said contract
on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
