Northern Railway Company File 6973 -S, a copy of said Agreement and
diagram attached being marked Exhibit 11All and incorporated herein
by reference as fully and completely as if the Agreement were set
out herein verbatim.

This refers to your letter of May 10 to Mr. E. F. Oviatt requesting
permission to drill test holes on our right of way east of Mississippi
Street in the Bunker Hill area in St. Paul as indicated by red circles
,on the attached print, your Project Arch - Pennsylvania- Minnehaha.
Permission is hereby granted to the City of St. Paul to enter upon Great
Northern right of way for the purpose of drilling test holes as indicated on
the attached print under the fol.l.oiring conditions:
1. All Work and drilling shell be done in a good and wOrkmn7tk0
manner so as not to interfere with the tracks, operation of
trains, and communication facilities of the Railway Company.
2. All work and drilling shall be performed under the supervision
of the Railway Company's Division Superintendent or such other
agent or employee as designated by the Railway CompanYs
3. A copy of log of the boring shall be furnished to us.
4. The City of St. Paul agrees to be responsible for its own employees
and equipment.
5• If the work is performed by a contractor employed by the City, the
City shall require the contractor to protect grantor (Great Northern
Railway Company) and any other railroad occupying or using grantor's
right of way or lines of grantor against all loss and damage I
