F. No. 19006 dated March 19, 1904, and said bridge being constructed in 1904; and WHEREAS, That section of Bush Avenue for a distance of 700 feet between the easterly right -of -way line of the Northern Pacific Railway and the ex- tended west line of Block 56, Arlington Hills Addition, was vacated and dis- continued by Council Resolution C.F. 210767, dated January 11, 1963; and WHEREAS, It is no longer necessary to connect a public thoroughfare on both sides of the Northern Pacific Railway right -of -way; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the Bush Avenue Bridge over the right -of -way and tracks of the Northern Pacific Railway Company be abandoned, dismantled and removed and that the Commissioner of Public Works be and he is hereby ordered to have such plans and specifications prepared as necessary for the abandonment, dismantling and removal of said bridge and to present said plans and specifi- cations to the Council for approval; and be it further RESOLVED, That the Commissioner of Public Works. be directed to negotiate with the proper officials of said Railway•Company, concerning an agreement between the City of St. Paul and said Railway Company for the abandonment, dismantling and removal of said bridge, as well as Railroad and Warehouse Commission approval thereof.
