Bureau of Fire Protection, was thin.' pa• rty, accicleni ICI •_ >� ias9 i3e2 81.__X1UJZraLtiny WHEREAS, Irvin Rousseau, an employee of the Department of Public Safety, Bureau of Fire Protection, was injured in a third party accident on December 25, 19629 and the City, by reason of said injury to its employee, paid him salary in the amount of $592.19 during the period he was disabled for work and expended the sum of $25.00 for medical expense; and WHEREAS, a settlement has been arrived at as between the employee and the third party involved in said accident, and the City will be reimbursed in full for its medical expense and salary paid on behalf of its employee less one - fourth for attorneys fees to employee's attorney for representing the City's subrogation claim in st d third party accident; and WHEREAS, the office of the Corporation @ounsel is in possession of Draft No. 1179388 of the State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company in the amount of $617.19, representing the total of the City's expense solely with respect to the injury of its employee Irvin Rousseau, Now, Therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the proper City officers are hereby authorized to accept said settlement of $617.19 from State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company, insurers of Florine M.
