WHEREAS, under Council File No, 211316, approved February 19, -19622
approving assessment and fixing time of hearing thereon, arising
out of Contract No. 61- Mm234, District No. 3, Levy No. 6, which
resolution approved the assessment roll in relation to sidewalk
assessments and the aforementioned contract, it having now appeared
that the certain portion of said contract embracing the sidewalk
construction on the north side of Curtice Street, from Harvard St.
to Brown Ave. was improperly constructed, Now Therefore Be It
f' RESOLVED, that the ratification of that portion of said assessment
roll embracing Curtice Street from Harvard St. to Brown Ave, be
t deferred until such time as the defect now existent in the subject
fsidewalk be corrected to the satisfaction of the City Engineer, and
f RESOLVED FURTHER that said prior resolution of the Council,
C,F. 211316, be amended-to the extent that Curtice St., north side
from Harvard St. to Brown Ave., is to be deleted therefrom and that
all remaining portions of said Council Resolution, C.F. 211316,
remain operative as stated therein, and
RESOLVED FURTHER that the Commissioner of Finance give notice to
the affected properties on Curtice Street from Harvard St. to Brown
Ave., advising that the hearing in connection with the ratification
of the assessment of benefits for sidewalk construction on Curtice
St, from Harvard St, to Brown Ave. is to be postponed until such
time as the Council may direct.
