A public hearing having been had upon the above improvement upon due notice, and the Council
having heard all persons, objections and recommendations relative thereto, and having fully considered
_ the same; therefore, be it ,
RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of St. Paul that the precise nature, extent and kind of im-
provement to be made by the said City is.
Grade and surface with bituminous material the alley in Block 1,
Bryant's Randolph St. Add, and Block 8, Watson's Add, from Milton
St, to Chatsworth St. Also constructing a sewer for storm water
purposes from the alley to Randolph Ave. on, under and across the
westerly 4 ft, of Lot 9, Block 1, Bryant's Randolph St. Add.
and the Council hereby orders said improvement to be made.
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Commissioner of Public Works be and is hereby instructed and
directed to 'prepare plans and specifications for said improvement, and submit same to the Council for
approval; that upon said approval, the proper city officials are hereby authorized and directed to pro-
ceed with the making of said improvement in accordance therewith.

Dear Honorable Mayor and Members of the City.Council:
Mr. John Ammer of 951. Juno Avenue has asked that I write this letter to you
to remove his name from the original Petition for resurfacing the alley behind
his home between Milton and Chatsworth.
It is my understanding that this matter has been set for hearing on June 25
and Mr. Ammer desires to be recorded in opposition thereto.

liminary order of the Council, known as Council File No. 211263
approved February 15, 19 63 relative to Grading and surfacing with
bituminous material the alley in Block 1, Bryant's Randolph St. Add. and Block 8,

1. The estimated cost; thereof is $ 5,135.72
2. A plan, profile or sketch of said improvement is hereto attached and made
a part hereof.
