PRESENTED BY i�t� lved, That the proper officers of COMMISSIONER �6 DAT 3 '� .'1 arefauthorized to endorse that draft No 2050307 from State, ' .a .1 ,�r`omobile Ins!.u•an�r..= 7.�9T91a' +l:i 'syfFnx' RESOLVED, That the proper officers of the City of Saint , Paul may be and hereby are authorized to endorse that particular ' draft No. 2056307 from State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance ` Company, which draft, in the amount of $2283.00, represents a settlement to Max Reiter, employee of the Bureau of Police, Department of Public Safety, and the City of 'Saint Paul for any and all claims arising out of that certain accident occurring on or about the 30th day of October, 1961, in connection with which said accident said city has, pursuant to the Workmen's Compensation Law, expended $1903 in salary to said Max Reiter and $380.00 in medical expense during the period of his disability on account of said accident, and to accept the aforementioned draft in full, final and complete settlement of the City's subrogation claim in said third -party accident; and RESOLVED FURTHER, That the ComptDller is hereby authorized to pay to Samuel Goldberg, Attorney for said employee, the sum of $570.75 representing one - fourth of the City's recovery, as and for attorneysifees in connection with said subrogation claim; and RESOLVED FURTHER That of said City's net settlement of $1712.25, the sum of 4380.00 be credited to Fund 31 Gl A and the balance of $1332.25 be credited to the Police Salary Fund; and the proper City officers are further authorized to sign any necessary releases in connection with said settlement.
