RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering to the Water

Department, Saint Paul, Minnesota, approx. 865 Lin. Ft. of 20" Prestressed Concrete
Cylinder Pipe and fittings (Class 150) with rubber and steel joints and appurtenances
to INTERNATIONAL PIPE & CERAMICS CORPORATION in accordance with City plans and
specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid +9340 of said International
Pipe and Ceramics Corporation for the contract price of approximately $11,288.25
(Board of Water Commissioners reserving the right to increase' the Materials of the
Contract by an amount not to exceed twenty per cent), such bid being the lower and
said International Pipe & Ceramics Corporation being -a reasonable and reliable bidder
and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of
contract therefor, and the proper City officials hereby'a;re authorized to execute said
