SAINT PAUL, MINNESOTA

WHEREAS, Saint Paul is the host city for the 2007 Minnesota Recreation and Pazks Association Annual State Conference; and
WHEREAS, Saint Paul Parks and Recreation wishes to continue the hadition of providing excellence in leadership to the
Minnesota Recreation and Parks Association state professional organization, and
WHEREAS, Saint Paul Parks and Recreation staff annually attend and participate in professional development and continuing
education sessions of the Minnesota Recreation and Pazks Association Conference, and
WHEREAS, Saint Paul Pazks and Recreation is facilitating the Wednesday, November 14, 2007, conference Keynote panel
presentation, "Saint Paul Heroes and Legends", and
WHEREAS, Saint Paul Parks and Recreation wishes to provide airfaze for speaker uavel to/from Saint Paul, and
WHEREAS, Saint Paul Pazks and Recreation is requesting permission to spend up to $502.41 to provide airfaze for speaker
uavel to present at the Minnesota Recreation and Pazks Association annual state conference, and
WHEREAS, by providing speakers for the Keynote panel presentation, Saint Paul Pazks and Recreation will continue the
tradition of providing excellence in leadership to the Minnesota Recreation and Pazks Association state professional
organization, and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, thaY Saint Paul Parks and Recreation is authorized to expend up to $502.41 of city funds Yo
provide airfare for speaker ffavel to present at the Minnesota Recreation and Parks Association annual state conference.
