RELATING TO ESTABLISHMENT OF REGULAR
PAY PERIODS IN THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. Notwithstanding any provision of the
charter of the city of Saint Paul or statute to the
contrary, the city council, upon recommendation of the
comptroller, may establish regular payroll periods and
pay days for all employees of the city.
Sec. 2. This act shall become effective only after
its approval by a majority of the governing body of the
city of Saint Paul and upon compliance with the provisions
of Minnesota Statutes, Section 645.021.
