Peterson - M "Tereas, Charles Larsen, employee !)',tithe Department of Public Safety, irlt'ea'lt. of Police, was injured in a bnn's,arty accident on or about July 7w �'2 'c "O "l 69 also' one Rpbertr �)a- 'It :40 Vt-,Alt t.k; .(.'•t' bas mac>x* a,ta 279,�a 'mt' - WHEREAS, Charles Larsen, employee of the Department of Public Safety, Bureau of Police, was injured in a third - party accident on or about July 30, 1961, involving also one Robert Henry Lubbe, and the City has made expenditures of $527.05 for medical care for its said employee, and he was disabled for work until September 7, 1961, receiving $612.17 in salary therefor; and WHEREAS, a settlement has been arrived at as between said employee, his attorney George Waldrup, and the other party involved in said accident, in the total amount of $3750, and employee's attorney has represented the City's subrogation interest in said settlement, obtaining for the City its full expenses for salary and medical bills and should be paid one-fourth of said settlement figure of $1139.22, or $284.80 as attorney fees, leaving a net to the City of $854.42, a draft for which amount is in the possession of the office of the Corporation Counsel, Now, Therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the proper City officers are hereby authorized to accept said sum of $854.42 in full, final and complete settlement of its subrogation claim only for injuries to its employee Charles Larsen, sustained in said third -party accident of July 30, 1961, and to execute any necessary releases in connection with said settlement; and RESOLVED FURTHER, That of said settlement, the sum of $395.29 be credited to Fund 31 Gl A and the sum of $459.13 be credited to the police Salary Fund.
