RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering to the Water
Department, Saint Paul, Minnesota, approx. 955 Lin. Ft. of 1611 Ductile Iron Pipe
with American Fastite joint and all necessary fittings and appurtenances to
AMERICAN CAST IRON PIPE COMPANY in accordance�rith City plans and specifications
therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid #9329 of said American Cast Iron Pipe
Company for the contract price of approximately $7,477.65 (Board of Water
Commissioners reserving the right to Aincreage any individual item of the Materials
of the Contract by an amount not to exceed twenty per cent of the quantity indicated)
such bid being the only bid and said American Cast Iron Pipe Company being a
reasonable and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed
to draw up the proper form of contract therefor, and the proper City officials
hereby are authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
