INTERMEDIARY ORDER
In the Matter of reconstructing the sidewalk and integral curb on the north side
of Fifth St, from Smith Ave, to the east approx. 200 ft. abutting Lots 6, 7, 8, Blk. 55
of Rice and Irvine's Add. and by doing all other work which is necessary and incidental
to complete said improvement
under Preliminary Order 211825 approved March 26, 1963
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends, is to reconstruct the
sidewalk and integral curb on the north side of Fifth St, from Smith Ave, to the east
approx. 200 ft. abutting Lots 6, 7, 8, Blk. 55 of Rice and Irvine's Add. and by doing
all other work which is necessary and incidental to complete said improvement except
where good and sufficient sidewalks now exist
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 9.50 per tin, ft, for 5° mono.

Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 9th day of
July, 1963 , at the hour of 10 &clock A. M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Ball Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons. and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
