RESOLVED, That upon the recommendation 6f the Commissioner
of Public Safety and the approval of Chief of Police L. E.
Mc Auliffe, Sgt. Wilfred 0. gyrkas -be and is hereby authorized
to attend the Northwestern University Traffic Institute at
Evanston, Illinois from September 12, 1963 through June 10, 1964;
and
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the proper City Officials hereby
authorize the sum of $3,300.00 for living expenses while in
attendance at said institute to be paid out of Bureau of Police
Fend 7 - C - 10 (Training Schools) for the purpose of this
institute; and
RESOLVED FURTHER,.That the initial sum of $4o0.00 be advanced
to Sgt. Jyrkas, and that each subsequent ad ance up to $3,300.00
be substantiated by a detailed account of the previous month's
expenditures.
