conferred thereon; that the said assessment has been completed, and that hereto
attached, identified by the signature of the said Valuation and Assessment Engineer,
and made a part hereof, is the said assessment as completed by him, and which is
herewith submitted to the Council for such action thereon as may be considered

Initiating Problem, lssues, Opportunity (Who, What, When, Where, Why):
A new state law, entiUed Tenant Remedies Action, provided authority for individuals and organizations to seek court assistance in
faciliiating the repair of properties with numerous code violations. The court appointed an administrator who performed the necessary
repairs on this property. The administrator then invoiced the City for the cost.
Advarkages If Approved:
The City will be able to recover the cost of repairing this condemned property and making it safe and habitable. The Ciry also can
replenish its funds for future rehabilitation work through the Tenants Remedy Action Program.
