COMMISSIONE DATE
RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering Crushed Rock
Salt in bulk to the Department of Public Works, Bureau of Sanitation, St. Paul,
Minnesota, contract to expire September 1, 1964, as follows:
CUTLER - MAGNER COMPANY
Approx. 2500 tons for shipment in covered hopper cars with enterprise gates
for the contract price of approximately $25,6W.00
INTERNATIONAL SATtr COMPANY
Approx. 2500 tons for shipment in covered hydraulically operated end dump trucks
for the contract price of approximately $28,750.00
in accordance with City specifications therefor hereto attached and the formal
bid }9404 of said bidders, they being the lowest and said bidders being
reasonable and reliable ones, and the Corporation Counsel-'be and hereby is
authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of Saint•Paul.
