RESOLVED, on the basis of the recommendation of the City
Architect, which recommendations are hereunto attached and
made a part hereof by reference, that the insurance require-
ments contained in the General Conditions of the Specifications
for removal of buildings pursuant to Charter in this city, may
be and hereto are waived in relation to Joe Postiglione, 1051
St. Clair Avenue, Saint Paul, Minnesota, who has been awarded
the contract for the purchase and removal of a dwelling at
1248 Grand Avenue, it being the understanding of the Council
that the contractor, said Postiglione, will engage the services
of Howard W. Prodger, and that the insurance as provided by
Howard W. Prodger, as a licensed house mover, will be sufficient
to meet the insurance specifications as required.

Gentlemen:
Mr. Joe Postiglione, 1051 St. Clair, Saint Paul, Minnesota has
bean awarded the contract for the Purchase and Removal of the
Dwelling, Garage, Fences, Driveways, Steps, Retaining Walls,
Walks, Curbs, Clothes Poles, Miscellaneous Concrete and Debris
located at 1248 Grand Avenue.
The General Conditions of the Specifications call for certain
insurances which the successful bidder shall furnish.
Mr. Postiglione has advised this office that he will turn the
moving of this building over to Howard W. Prodger and his insur-
ance, as licensed house mover, will be ample.
Therefore, we are requesting that the insurance requirements
contained in the specifications be we[ived for this particular
contract.
