RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract for the Construction of a Sanitary Sewer in
Hillside Avenue from Commonwealth Avenue to 29 feet East of the West Line of Lot 14,
Block 41, St. Anthony Park North to AXEL NEWMAN HEATING & PILZ=G CCMPANY, INC. in
accordance with City plars and specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal
Bid #9398 of said Axel Newman Heating & Plumbing Company, Inc. for the contract price
of $3,175.00 (plus $318.00 Engineering and plus $63.00 Inspection by City Forces),such
bid being the lowest and said Axel Newman Heating & Plumbing Company, Inc. being a
reasonable and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed
to draw up the proper form of contract therefor, and the proper City officials hereby
are authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
