Initiating Problem, Issues, Opportunity (Who, What, When, Where, Why):
Human Resources was asked by Public Health to conduct a job study for the Health Information Administrator, Occupation Code
221B, grade 16, Salary Schedule 06. A determination was made by HR that the classification to ihe Professional Bazgaining Unit at a
salary schedule grade level of 19 was appropriate. Professional Employees Association Bargaining Unit 06, was notified of ihe change
and they had no objecrions.
AdvanWges If Approved:
The Public Health organizational structure will be properly structured to manage the work lieing completed. The individual in this
classificarion will be able to perform the duties and responsibilities of the classification and will be appropriately compensated.

Duries and responsibili6es would need to be absorbed by current employees. The result would be delays in work and services
completed by current employees.
