WBEREAS, -That bridge which carries Bush Avenue over the right -of -way
and tracks of the Northern Pacific Railway Company was abandoned by Resolution
Council File No. 211685, dated March 19, 1963; and
WHEREAS, The Northern Pacific Railway Company and the City of St. Paul
have mutually agreed between themselves concerning the removal of said bridge
and the regrading of the west slope, as per agreement Council File No. 212663,
dated May 9, 1963; be it
RESOLVED; That the plans and specifications for the above named removal,
as submitted by the Commissioner of Public Works, be and the same are hereby
approved; and: be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Commissioner of Public Works is hereby
authorized and directed to have City Forces fill and regrade the west slope
of said bridge at an estimated cost of $400.00; and be it
.y FURTHER RESOLVED, That the proper City officers be and they hereby are
authorized and directed to charge the cost of such work, by City Forces, td-,-
P.I.R. Fund 3001 to be reimbursed by Bridge Building and Repair Fund Code 14; �
and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Purchasing Agent be and he is hereby directed
to advertise for bids for the removal of said bridge, portion of the west
w_•= abutment and wing walls, masonry walls adjacent to west abutment, a portion
r. of the street'surface and sidewalks and all other work as shown in the plans
and specifications.
