RESOLVED, That the resolution of the Board of Water Commissioners dated July
3rd 1963, in respect of the proposition of rezoning portions of
Rice Street Motor Line Addition, Ramsey County, and the further proposition in
respect of the vacation of certain streets located in said Rice Street Motor Line
Addition, a copy of said resolution being annexed hereto and by this reference
incorporated herein, be and the same hereby is approved and ratified in all things;
and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,, That the proper officers of the City of Saint Paul be
and they hereby are authorized and directed to enter upon,petitions to that end
to be submitted to the Village Council of the rVillage of Little Canada.

WHERM, It appears it would be advantageous if all said properties first be
roxoned from "residential" to "comercial" or "business" and if all streets in
said Addition excepting only Owasso Boulevard North and that portion of Seventh
Street comprised by sam, first be vacated;

ing and the proposition of the vacation of said streets or portions theragf'be
and both seme hereby aria approved, and that the proper officers of the Board

potitLan to the Villago Council of the Villega of Little Canada to that end; and
BE IT VURTM RESOLVED, Tbat a copy of this resolution be submitted to tte Council
of tha City of Saint Paul and that that honorable body be requosted to approve imd
ratify this action of the Board of hater Commissioners and to authorize and direct
its propotr officers also to eater upon said petition to be submitted to the Village
CoUncLl of the Village of Little Canada.
