AREAS, Louis L. Mark, employe of the Department of
Public Safety, Bureau of Police, was injured in course of his
employment with said Department of Public Safety on June 22,
1936, and on August 15, 1962, *filed a Claim Petition with the
Industrial Commission of Minnesota for permanent partial dis-
ability claimed to have been sustained as a result of said
injury on duty; and
WHEREAS, the office of the Corporation Counsel, and
employe, through his counsel- Cochrane, Thomson and Bresnahan,
have negotiated a settlement of employe's claim and the office
of the Corporation Counsel recommends that the proper City
officers-be authorized to enter into a Stipulation -for Settlement
providing -for payment of $168.36 representing 9 -115 weeks of
temporary total disability at the rate of $18.30 per week and
payment of $1372.50 representing 25%-permanent partial disability
of the back, or 75 weeks at the rate- of $18.30 per week to said
employe with provision for attorney 'fees to be paid out of said
settlement, and to abide by the -Award of the Industrial Commission
to issue in accordance with such Stipulation,
Now, Therefore, be it
..., RESOLVED, That the proper City officers are hereby
authorized and directed to enter into such Stipulation for
Settlement of said employe' s Claim before the Industrial
Commission and to abide by the Award of the Industrial Commission
issued 4n accordance with such Stipulation; and'to pa � to said
employee the sum of $1540.86 ' le ss attorney fees of $35.22 or
$1155.64, and to pay directly to said attorneys the sum of
$385.22 representing attorney fees awarded by the Commission,
and to pay to the Special Compensation Fund the sum of $27.45;
that said payments shall constitute full, final and complete
settlement of any and all claims said employe may,have against
the City in connection with said injury, with the exception of
future hospital, surgical and medical care which may be necessary
as a result thereof.

WHEREAS, Louis L. Mark, employe of the Department of
