RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Palx%;'•r
that the issuance of a permit by the Commissioner of Publi6
Works to the Northern States Power Company, upon -its application
of May 14, 1963, under and subject to all the provisions, terms
and conditions of City of Saint Paul Ordinance No. 931+, as
amended; be and the same hereby is approved and authorized,
and that the same shall constitute permission to said Company,
as the permittee, under said Ordinance No. -9314, to extend the
height of an existing steel tower twenty -six feet and to
install an additional steel tower of a height of approximately
ninety -three feet at a distance of two hundred and fifty feet
west of the steel tower so extended; and
RESOLVED FURTHER, that the extension of the steel
tower and the installation of the new steel tower, permitted
herein, shall be in compliance and in accordance with the
plans, NQ- 27249A attached hereto, made a part hereof and
incorporated herein by reference; that said plans and the
changes therein adapted are all performed under the general
permission provided by that certain Council File No. 173691
which dealt with the erection, laying, construction, installa-
tion, maintenance, and operation of a High Voltage Tower
Electric Transmission Line in the vicinity of the High Bridge
and Dayton's Bluff, Saint Paul, Minnesota; and
RESOLVED FURTHER, that the conditions by which this
permit is issued will be as specified in that certain Council
File No. 173691 and that said permittee, the Northern States
Power Company, shall be subject to the same obligations as
stated therein, pertaining, in part, to the safety or convenience
of ordinary travel, the indemnification of the City, and
dompliance with the regulations imposed by the Council; and
RESOLVED FURTHER, That said Company shall file its
written acceptance of this resolution within sixty days next
after the publication of the same, in the office of the City
Clerk.
