WHEREAS, In the matter of Comptroller's Contract L- 6176 -8 for the Summit Avenue Bridge over the Short Line Road and the tracks of the Chicago, Milwaukee, Saint Paul and Pacific Railway, Ashbach Construction Co., Contractor, the specified date of completion was May 159 1963 WHEREAS, the Contractor has prosecuted the work diligently but due to the inclement weather, the painting and seal coating work was delayed and it was not possible to complete the contract by said date of completion, now therefore be it,.
