RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract for the Construction of the Battle Creek sanitary
Seger System South Interceptor - Section 1, using A.S.T.M. C -361 R.C.P. Pipe for
Siphon to flURT3s3[ CONSTRUCTION COWANY in accordance with City plans and specifications
therefor.hereto attached and the Formal Bid #9320 of said Hurley Construction Company
for the contract price of $134,831.37 (plus Engineering $13,483.14 and plus. $2696.63
Inspection by City Forces) such bid being the lowest and said Hurley Construction
Company being a reasonable and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and
hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor, and the proper
City officials hereby are authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City
of Saint Paul.
