WHEREAS, Additions and Deductions which might prove to be
necessary in the improvement described as the Paving of
Lexington Parkway from the Northern Pacific Railway Bridge
to a point 384 feet north, Comptroller's Contract L-6377,,
Ashbach Construction Co., Contractor, have been provided
for in the specifications, and
WHEREAS, it has been found necessary to make the following
Additions:
Remove concrete base -- 4836.2 Yds. @ $1.00 = $ 41836.20
Gravel base inplace (CL 5)- -831 Cu.Yds. G $2.60 = 2,160.60
611 Conc. base (D- AE)-- 3529.2 Sq. Yds. ® $3.80 = 13,410.96
6" Conc. base (HE =AE) -- 1586.5 Sq. Yds. Q $4.02 = 6,377.73
Total = $26,785.49
WHEREAS, the total net addition is $26,785.49, now therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the City of St. Paul through its City Council
approves the foregoing additions made in accordance with the
Specifications in the sum of $26,785.49, said amount to be
added to the cost of final quantities named in the Contract,
known as Comptroller's Contract L -6377, and which amount is to
be financed from Ylunicipal State Aid Funds.
The Commissioner of Public Works has agreed with the above
named Contractor that the sum of $26,785.49 is the correct
amount to be added to the above Contract.
