PAUL OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK 210723 0723 COU FILLEN�iL NO. ale'0 , PRESENTED BY COMMISSIONER IC7 h�� DA January 8, 1963 WHEREAS, The Commissioner of Libraries, Auditorium and Civic Buildings has reported in accordance with Section 53 of the City Charter., the existence of an emergency during the period from December 2nd through December 31st, 1962 which rendered necessary the employ- ment of certain employees of the Department of Libraries, Auditorium and Civic Buildings, Bureau of Auditorium, for more than eight hours per day or forty hours per week in doing the following work; Operate ventilating systems, operate PBX switchboard, and supervise during the various events held in the building. and WHEREAS., This emergency arose by reason of the following facts and circumstances: No other trained help available to work during road shows, women's institute programs, conventions, Christmas parties, hockey games and other events held in the building, this time includes Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays. THEREFORE BE IT RESMVED, That the proper City Officers are hereby authorized to pay the employees who performed such work in accordance with the provisions of the Councilts Salary Ordinance No. 6446.
