WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul did receive a
conveyance of forfeited lands dated February 14', 19522
.from the State of Minnesota (a copy of which deed is at-
tached hereto, and made a part hereof); and
x
WHEREAS, the said property was conveyed to the
City by the State to be used by said City exclusively for
a public dump:; and
WHEREAS, the,Port Authority of the City of Saint
Paul has offered to convey for-said purposes certain real
estate totaling 3.9 acres to the City of Saint Paul in
exchange for'the City of Saint Paul reconveying the property
described in;the attached copy of .the deed to the State of
Minnesota, which can thereupon convey said property, free
and clear from any restrictions - 'except mineral reservations
to the Port Authority of the City of Saint Paul; now, there-
fore, be
RESOLVED, that the proper City officers are hereby
authorized and empowered to trangTer and reconvey the said
property described in the deed hereto attached to the Tax
Commissioner,,;State -of Minnesota, provided that said Port
Authority of the City_ of Saint Paul shall thereupon convey
to the City of Saint Paul the following described.realty:
That part of the following two describe'd'
parcels lying northeasterly of the right -
of =way of Trunk Highway 61 and Point Douglas
Road as follows:
Subject to Trunk Highway 61 and Point Douglas
Road, beginning at a point North 720 - 30'
