Minnehaha Highway from Mississippi Street to Desoto Street,'and WHEREAS, Said agreement provides that the Company shall complete and deliver to the City the preliminary report required under said agreement within 150 cal- endar days after being',directed to proceed with the work, and WHEREAS, The Company was directed to proceed with the work on October 19, 1961, and WHEREAS, In the performance of its work, the Company has encountered numerous delays beyond its control, such as excessive amounts of snow in the 1961 -1962 winter, which prevented completion of field surveys, delays in the obtaining of soil borings, delays with traffic studies made by others, reviews of proposed plans by the several railroad companies and the need for review by various governmental agencies,'and WHEREAS, The Company has requested that in consideration of the delays the Company has encountered beyond its control, the Chief Engineer and the Commissioner of Public Works have recommended an extension of time; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That under Article III of the aforesaid agreement, the time specified for delivery'of the preliminary report be extended to November 16, 1962. r UK �O� COUNCILMEN Yeas Nays Dalglish Holland Loss Mortinson Peterson Rosen Mr. President, Vavoulis 101\1 6-62 P JAN 2 1963 Adopted by the Council 19— JAN 2 19M Approved 19— lr j Mayor DUPLICATE TO PRINTER CITY OF ST.
