� The Council of the City of St: Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Financer
upon th'e above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves: -
1. That the said report and;the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with. _ � �
� 2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is �
to reconstruct the sidewallr. on'both sides of Portland Ave, from Fairview Ave. to
Dewey St. and by doing all other work which is necessary and incidental to complete

said improvement except whe're good and sufficient sidewalks now exist _
- with no alternatives, and that tlie estimated cost thereof is $ 3.25 ner lin, ft. for 5 ft, walk

• . Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 19 th day of
Ma.v. 19 64 �; at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber af the Court
House and City Hall Building in the Qity of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of F�nance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place af ,
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated. ,��� �
