The Council of the City of St.'Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above impravement, and having considered said re�port, hereby resolves: � �
1. That the said report and� the same is hereby approved and adopted, aud the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with. , " '
2. That the nature of the improvement which the C�uuncil recommends is '
to condemn and take an easement in the land necessary for the slopes, cnts and fill�,
including right of remo�ral of lateral support Prom sub�ect land or rem�inder thereof,

said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by th� Charter, stating the time and place af
