WHEREAS, In connection with the construction of Trunk Highway No. 51
between Hewitt Avenue and Midway Parkway, the State of Minnesota, Depart-
ment of Highways has agreed to construct a storm sewer system on Snelling
Avenue from Hewitt Avenue to the Northern Pacific Railway Tracks, and
WHEREAS, The City of Saint Paul and the State of Minnesota have
entered into a cooperative agreement No. 54156, State Project No. 6215 -30
which provides, under Section III of said agreement for the advance pay-
ment of $42,490.16 as the City of Saint Paul's share of the cost of the
storm sewer construction and in the event the final construction cost is
more or less than the advance payment, the City of Saint Paul, will in the
first instance, advance an additional amount to the State of Minnesota and
in the second instance the State will return a balance to the City, now
therefore be it,
RESOLVED, That the sum of $42,490.16 be paid to the Commissioner of
Highways and this amount be charged to the Permanent Improvement Revolving
Fund, Code 6000 and this same fund to be reimbursed from the City's Share
of Local Improvement Fund, Code 0920 -701. _
