4 WHEREAS, Robert L. Ames, the City Architect, having requested the
City Council to hold a?�aiblie hearing to consider any complaints about the
expense incurred by thW City of Saint Paul in removing a dangerous structure
at 481 Iglehart Avenue, more particularly described as Lot 20, Block 20,
Mackubin and Marshall's addition to Saint Paul, the City Council held a
public hearing on tfie 4th day of August, 1961, to consider the expense and
to confirm the amount thereof, and
WHEREAS, it appears that the City Council, pursuant to C. F. No.214785,
approved September 20, 1963, published September 28, 1963, set a public hearing
to consider removing the dangerous structure, and the City Council by C. F.
No. 215098, approved October 15, 1963, published October 19, 1963, ordered the
wrecking by and at the separate cost and expense of the owner, occupant, or
other person in control thereof, and the City Council by C. F. No. 215+93,
approved November 15, 1963, published December 14, 1963, directed the Commis-
sioner of Parks and Recreation and Public Buildings to enter upon the premises
and wreck and remove the building thereon and do any and all things therein
necessary for the protection-,of life, limb and adjoining property, and that
the City of Saint Paul has incurred the expense of $807.50 in removing said
structure; and
WHEREAS, it appears that Rose E. Flood, 1590 Wellesley Avenue, is

WHEREAS, Robert L. Ames, the City Architect, having requested the
City Council to hold a pub`lirc hearing to consider any complaints about the
expense incurred by the City of Saint Paul in removing a dangerous structure
at 481 Iglehart Avenue, more particular;L7 described as Lot 20, Block 20,
Mackubin and Marshall's addition to Saint Paul, the City Council held a
public hearing on the 4th day of August, 1964, to consider the expense and
to confirm the amount thereof, and
WHEREAS, it appears that the City Council, pursuant to C. F. No.214785,
approved September 20, 1963, published September 28, 1963, set a public hearing
to consider removing the dangerous structure, and the CitytCouncil by Cr-F..' 1'. ,
No. 215098, approved October 15, 1963, published October 19, 1963, ordered the '
wrecking by and -at the separate cost and expense of the owner, occupant, or

RESOLVED, that we, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul, do
hereby confirm the amount of $807.50 to be the fair, true, and reasonable
amount for such services incurred in removing the dangerous structure; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk be directed to file in the
office of the Register of Deeds for the County of Ramsey a statement of
expense incurred by the City for the purpose of securing a lien on the
property, pursuant to the Building Code, Section 1.07 of the St. Paul Legislative
Code,

Dear Sir:
We are attaching a copy of Council File No. 219721, approved
by the City Council August.25, 1964 and to be published in
the official paper on- August 29, 1964
This has reference to the property at 481 Iglehart Avenue,
Saint Paul, described as Lot 20, Block 20, Mackubin & Marsh-
all's Addition to Saint Paul, owned by Rose E. Flood, 1590 Welles-
ley Avenue, Saint Paul, and confirms the expense incurred by the
City in the condemnation and wrecking of the two family dwelling
thereon, which amounted to $807.50.
As you will note, the final paragraph of this resolution dir-
ects the City Clerk to file, in the office of the Register of
Deeds, a statement of expense incurred, for the purpose of secur-
ing a lien on the property, in accordance with Section 1.07 -7
of the Saint Paul Legislative Code.
