WHEREAS, in the matter of the soil exploration contract preliminary
to and for the final design of Plans for Contract ",A" - ST. ANTHONY
PARK RELIEF SEiI1ER, Colmptroller' s Contract L- 6582 -2, Minnesota Test
Boring Company, contractor, the specified date of completion is
May 15, 1964, and 1�
WHEREAS, the award of contract was approved May 7, 1964, there
remained an insuffic Tent length of time to process the necessary
contract documents before commencement of work and to prosecute
the work by said completion date, therefore be it
RESOLVID, that the proper city officers be and they are hereby
authorized and diveciddto execute an amendment to said contract
extending the time of completion to JULY 243 1964, provided
however, that this resolution shall have no force or effect unless
the sureties on thm contractor's bond consent thereto in writing
and file such consent with the City Comptroller, and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, thati the City of St. Paul hereby waives all claim
for liquidated damages and that no engineering and inspection
charges on this project -will be made to the Contractor on account
of this extended period.
