RESOLVED, That the Council hereby concurs in the award of the Contract Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract for furnishing all labor, tools, equipment
and material to install 168 linear feet of 48" diameter tunnel liner plate under
and across the Great Northern Railway Company approximately 120 feet west of the

center line of Snelling Avenue and approximately 405 feet north of existing
Pierce Butler Road to METAL PRODUCTS-DIVISION., ARMCO STEEL CORPORATION in
accordance with City plan and specifications therefor hereto attached and the
Formal Bid #9756 of said Metal Products Division, Armco Steel Corporation for
the contract price of $15,51+2.00, such-bid being the lowest Alternate Bid and
said Metal Products Division, Armco Steel Corporation being a reasonable and
reliable bidder, and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw
up the proper form of contract therefor and the proper City officials hereby are
authorized to execute said contracts on behalf of the City of St. Paul.
