In the Matter of opening, widening and extending HAWTHORNE` AVENUE creating a
cul -de -sac for street purposes west of Jackson St. by condemning and taking those
parts of Lots Cy D and F in Soo Line Plat Number 3 and that part of Lot 6, Block 1,
x Dawson's Fourth Addition to St. Paul lying between the north and south right -0-
way lines of Hawthorne Ave. and the arc of a circle having a 50 foot radius, the
center of said circle being on the center line of Hawthorne Avenue and 87 feet-
west of the west line of Jackson Street.

The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to open, widen and extend HAWTHORNE AVENUE creating a cul -de -sac for street purposes
west of Jackson St. by condemning and taking those partsk,of Lots C,D and F in Soo
Line Plat Number 3 and that part of Lot 6, Block 1, D�wson's Fourth Addition to
St. Paul lying between the north and south right-of-Way lines of Hawthorne Ave.
and the arc of a circle having a 50 foot radius, the center of said circle being
on the center line of Hawthorne Avenue and 87 feet west of the west line of
Jackson Street.

with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 375.00
Resolved Further, That a public, .hearing be had on said improvement on the i5th day of
September, 1964 , at the hour of 10- o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the 'City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to they persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
