RESOLUTION APPOINTING COUNCILMEMBER DAVE THUNE AS THE CITY OF SAIN`I' PAUL'S
REPRESENTATIVE TO THE ROBERT STREET CORRIDOR STEERING CONIMITTEE AND
DONNA SWANSON AS HIS ALTERNATE
WHEREAS, the 2006 Minnesota L,egislature identified funds to study the Robert Street Corridor as an
opporiunity for transit improvements; and

WHEREAS, the Dakota County and Ramsey County Regional Railroad Authorities, in partnership with
the Metropolitan Council, Minnesota Department of Transportation and locaJ communities in the corridor,
will conduct the study to deternune the feasibility of transit way development and assess all reasonable
alternatives far transit improvements; and
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul has been asked to appoint a representative to the Robert Street Corridor
Steering Committee; and
WHEREAS, the portion of the Robert Street Corridor located in Saint Paul is located entirely within the
Second Wazd;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE Tf RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Saint Paul appoints
Councilmember Dave Thune to serve as the City's representative on the Robert Street Corridor Steering
Committee and Legislafive Aide Donna Swanson to serve as his alternate.
