WHEREAS, the City has incurred medical expense in •
� the amount of $4�6.00 therefor, and said employe was disabled �
, £or work £or a p,eriod of time, being paid salary in the
amount of $102. 7'��2 therefor; and
WHEREAS, a sett�nent has been negotiated between
said employe and; the other "party involved in said accident,
in the total amount of $ 148. 72, and out of said sum, the
� City will receiv'e the full amount of its subrogation interest
. by reason of inj'ury to its employe, $148. 72, less one-fourth . �

WHEREAS, Kenneth Flowers, an employe of the Department
of Public Safety, Bureau of Police� was injured in a third

the amount of $46.00 therefor, and said employe was disabled
for work for a period of time, b�ing paid salary ir� the
amount of �102.72 �herefor; and '
WHEREAS, a s�ttlanent has been negotiated between ,
said employe and the other party involved in said accident,
in the total amount of $148. 72, and out of said sum, the
City will receive the full amount of its subrogation interest
by reason of injury to its employe, $148. 72, less one-fourth
as attorneys fees, �37. 18, or a net settlement to the City
of �111.54, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the proper City office�s are hereby
authorized to accept and endorse the check of the Mutual
Service Casualty Insurance Company in the �um and amount
of �148. 72 and payable to City of Saint Paul and Richard
Newcome, their attorney, to accept from said sum the
amount of $111.54, �77.04 to be credit�d to the police
salary fund and $34.50 to the Workmen's Compensation fund;
to issue the City's draft for th� remaining �37.18 payable
to Richard Newcome, attorney for Kenneth Flowers; £urther,
to execute any necessary releases therefor.
