THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That the Zoning Code, Chapters 60 to 64,
inclusive,of the Saint Paul Legislative Code, pertaining to
Use Districts, Height Districts, and Rezoning of certain pro-
perties in the City of Saint Paul, as amended, be and the same
is hereby further amended so as to rezone the following des-
cribed property from "B" Residence District to Commercial Dis-
trict, to -wit:
"The east 127.40 feet of the south
187.45 feet 'of Lot 39, Cottage Homes;"
situated on the north side of Maryland Avenue at Norton Street
extended in Saint Paul.
• Section 2. This ordinance is hereby declared to be
an emergency ordinance rendered necessary for the preservation
of the public peace, health, and safety.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effec,� and be
in force upon its passage, approval and publication.
PETITION TO REZONE
A petition having been filed request-
ing that Chapters 60 to R4 inclusive,
St. Paul Legislative r-ode, re Zoning,
etc., be amended so as to rezone prop-
erty described as the east 127.40 ft.
of the 4outh 187.45 ft. of Lot 39, Cottage
Homes, located on the north side of
Maryland Ave. west of Arundel St., to
Commercial District, the Council of
the City of Saint Paul has fixed the
2nd day of April, 1984, at ten o'clock
[in the forenoon in the Council Chamber
in the City Hall of said City, and at
said time and place, the Council will
hear all persons and all objections and
recommendations relative to said pro-
posed amendment.
