WHEREAS, the Hospital Facility Building Commission, ar
its. regular meeting held on May 13, 1g6�+, authorized execution
of an equipment contract between Brown and Day, Inc. , as party
of the firs� part, and The Hospital Facility Building Commission
of the City of Saint Paul and County of Ramsey, and the City of
Saint Paul and the County of Ramaey, Minnesota, as party of the
second part, for the purchase of surgical lights, in the amount
of $17,998.00; and ,
� WHEREAS, The Hospital Facility Building Commission in letter
, dated May 14, 196�+, from Francis M. Tompkins, Executive Secretary,
' to Harold J. Riordan, City Cler� has requested that the Cit�
Council approve s�.id contract and authorize the proper Cit of-
ficials to execute� the same on behalf of the City of Saint Paul;
-,:� now, therefore, be it •

� RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint Paul hereby
authorizes, approves and ratifies the action of the Hospita�l
�acility Building Commiss�on in the premises and authorizes� the
proper City officials to execute, on behalf of said City, the
aforementioned contract.

Dear Mr. Riordan:
The Hospital Facility Building Commission at its regular business i
meeting held on May 13, 1964, approved the Equipment Contract with
Brown and Day, Inc. in the amount of $17,998.00.
This Contract is relative to the purchase of:
Two (2) Major Surgical Twin Lights
Eight (8) Major Surgical Single Lights
Six (6) Minor Surgical Single Lights
One (1) Minor Surgical Twin Light
for the new City-County Hospital.
The Commission respectfully requestcthat the City Council of the
- City of Saint Paul, under the provisions of Laws 1957, Chapter
938, approve the above action of the Commission and authorize the
Mayor, Comptroller and the City Clerk to sign the above contract
on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
